Computerworld is seeking IT user-organization best practice submissions for its second Enterprise Intelligence Awards Program.
This global awards program is focused on best practices in the use of information technology solutions built on Teradata platforms. The program is wholly and independently managed by Computerworld, with judges selected by Computerworld from senior IT management who themselves have received past industry awards.
Nominations Welcomed from: Eligible nominees are exclusively IT end-user organizations that are Teradata customers. Nominations of IT end-user organizations are accepted from IT users themselves or their public relations representatives. Multiple submissions describing different deployments per IT end-user/organization will be considered. Please note: No IT vendors may submit and while submissions may operate in heterogeneous environments, the solution must include a Teradata platform. Winning and Finalist submissions from the 2008 Enterprise Intelligence Awards Program cannot be resubmitted unless there is a substantial change to the project.
Deadline for Receipt of Submissions-Via this Online Process: Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 11:59PM EST. Three finalists with one winner in each of the five categories will be recognized at the Enterprise Intelligence Awards ceremony held at the 2009 Teradata PARTNERS User Group Conference & Expo being held in Washington, DC, October 18-22, 2009.
Program Judges' Criteria for Evaluation:
Judges will evaluate and rank the finalists and winners in each category according to their substantiated Enterprise Intelligence solution attributes and achievements against a set of criteria such as:
- Strategic importance to the business.
- Positive impact on other business/organization units.
- Substantial customer impact (i.e. service, retention, acquisition, innovation).
- Provides a strategic advantage to the business/organization while anticipating and accommodating the deployment of future enterprise intelligence initiatives.
- Financial return and measurable payback (returns on investment, assets, resources) through the creation of revenue opportunities or cost savings.
- Addresses challenges of data management, information access, analysis and provides a foundation for better business decisions.
Recognition and Benefits to Award Recipients and Program Nominees:
- The winners and finalists in each category will receive special recognition at an awards ceremony in October at the 2009 Teradata PARTNERS User Group Conference & Expo.
- Finalists and winners will be invited to sit on a panel at the conference with the opportunity to be interviewed by the press.
- All winners and finalists will be recognized on the event website, in press releases, and may be featured in Computerworld, online and in print.
- Award recipients will be announced in the Computerworld issue following the Washington D.C. formal ceremony.
- Award recipients will be entitled to use the program logo and promote achievements on their corporate website.
Use of Submission and Confidentiality of Information: All information gathered is for the exclusive use of this awards program and the judges. The judges will use this information for the purposes of this awards program only. Computerworld may profile winners in a special supplement, using excerpts and information from the winning submissions. Winners will be contacted and expected to provide additional information including quotes, press interviews, pictures, etc.
